Founded in 2020 by Nikolaus and Valerie Leopold, LEOPOLD Fine Arts continues the tradition of expertise in Austrian art from the 19th to the 21st century — a legacy begun by their grandfather, the renowned art collector and museum founder Rudolf Leopold.

LEOPOLD Fine Arts offers knowledgeable and personal advisory services for collectors and art enthusiasts. At the heart of our activities lies the discreet placement of selected artworks of lasting cultural and collector value. In addition, we provide support through art historical research, provenance clarification, and curatorial guidance. We are guided by care, integrity, and a dedication to artistic and historical quality.

A curated selection of currently available works can be found here.

The Leopold Private Collection is a constant point of reference in our work and reflects our lasting commitment to the relevance of Austrian art. It represents our lasting commitment to Austrian art and its continued relevance. The collection focuses on artistic developments in Vienna around 1900 and includes works by Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt, and Oskar Kokoschka, as well as significant Austrian artists such as Koloman Moser, Alfred Kubin, Richard Gerstl, Albin Egger-Lienz, Max Oppenheimer, Anton Kolig, Emil Jakob Schindler, Ferdinand Georg Waldmüller, Franz Sedlacek, and Rudolf Wacker.

Our aim is to research and preserve works from the Leopold Private Collection and to make them accessible to a broad audience in Austria and abroad through carefully curated exhibitions and loans. In the spirit of Rudolf Leopold’s uncompromising vision, we are also committed to supporting emerging contemporary artists and curators.
