LEOPOLD Fine Arts was founded in 2020 by Nikolaus and Valerie Leopold and, in the tradition of Rudolf Leopold, specialises in Vienna 1900, Austrian Modernism and selected positions through to the present day.
LEOPOLD Fine Arts stands for expertise, discretion and personal advice for collectors across generations. At the centre of our work are carefully selected artworks of enduring cultural, art-historical and collector value. We also advise on all aspects of collecting, provenance research and collection management.
Integrity, diligence and the highest art-historical standards define our approach. Through loans from the collection, we contribute to international museum and exhibition projects. We also support selected contemporary artists, curators and projects in Austria and abroad.
Our particular expertise encompasses Vienna 1900 and significant positions of Austrian Modernism. This includes works by Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt and Oskar Kokoschka, as well as important works by Koloman Moser, Alfred Kubin, Richard Gerstl, Albin Egger-Lienz, Max Oppenheimer, Anton Kolig, Emil Jakob Schindler, Ferdinand Georg Waldmüller, Franz Sedlacek and Rudolf Wacker.
